The Rise and Development Prospect of Smart Fire Fighting

"Smart fire protection" refers to the use of advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, cloud platforms, and the Internet to organically connect various elements such as fire protection facilities, regulatory data, fire fighting and rescue, and social basic resources through the Internet of Things and communication technology to achieve Real-time, dynamic, interactive, and integrated fire information collection, transmission, and processing process. It not only effectively improves the level of fire safety supervision and management, but also greatly enhances the ability of command, dispatch, decision-making and disposal of fire fighting and rescue, making social fire safety management more intelligent and real-time.

The Rise and Development of Smart Fire Fighting in China

In October 2017, the Ministry of Public Security issued the "Guiding Opinions on Comprehensively Promoting the Construction of" Smart Fire Protection ", requesting to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of fire protection services to intelligent; the opinions put forward the key construction tasks and work goals of smart fire protection.

In May 2019, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council jointly issued the opinions on deepening the reform of fire law enforcement, which put forward 12 major tasks in five aspects of fire law enforcement reform. In the aspect of strengthening the supervision during and after the event, we should improve the "Internet supervision", use the Internet of things and big data technology, real-time and intelligent assessment of fire safety risks, and realize accurate supervision.

In July 2019, the Ministry of Emergency Management's "Proposal on Promoting National Smart Fire Protection Construction" replied: actively build a smart fire protection big data platform and Internet of Things system; further guide and support local promotion of smart fire protection construction; strengthen the effectiveness of smart fire protection construction results publicity.

 

The development prospect of intelligent fire protection

 

1.Establishment of fire supervision database

After years of development, various parts of our country have gradually established intelligent fire prevention supervision databases, gradually getting rid of the state of traditional fire prevention management without data, independent data without connection and sharing, and bringing key components and supervision key points in the fire safety system into the Internet of Things, so as to achieve dynamic and long-distance monitoring of fire safety in different units, and also to automatically collect information and data. At the same time, the collected data can be added to the fire supervision network platform to create a fire supervision and inspection database, so as to realize the automatic collection of data, so as to ensure the efficiency of fire supervision and inspection, and then ensure the level of fire safety supervision.

 

2.Fire prevention supervision and inspection system continues to spread

In the past, fire prevention supervision and inspection mainly relied on manpower, and the contradiction between the ever-expanding supervision demand and the shortage of manpower is getting bigger and bigger. Intelligent fire protection breaks this situation and realizes the information and intelligent development of fire prevention supervision and inspection.
